Editorial philosophy
A media portal on security in the real and the virtual world
There is no such thing as too much security. It is the foundation of a society's well-being, resilience and development. Security runs through everything: our daily lives, business, relationships between people, society and the state, the world and the planet — and in time it reaches far beyond Earth, taking in the future of humanity and of the universe.

Preparing to launch
What is already on the site
What is published today is the editorial structure: sections, formats, expert fields and interactive tests. The feed of articles will appear when regular publishing begins.
If you are an expert, an author, a partner or an advertiser — write to the newsroom: we are forming the author pool and the expert council.
How a piece is built
Nine questions every analysis answers
An ordinary report says: «there was a cyberattack». A Qalqan analysis answers nine questions — only then does it become a publication.
Qalqan Media brings together all kinds of security and breaks threats down so that by the end of the piece you know what to do. We do not retell the news. We take the scheme apart, show exactly where a person or a company makes the wrong move, and give the floor to a specialist in that field.
