Experts
Qalqan experts
The expertise of Qalqan Media rests on the eight sectors of the professional association. Every piece carries commentary from a specialist in the relevant field.
We do not use nameless «security experts». Commentary is published with the specialist's name, their sector, and the part of the question it addresses.
The strength of this model is collegiality: a lawyer, an information security specialist, an economic security specialist and a profiler see the same case differently, and together that gives a dimensional picture.

Open sectionHow the newsroom works with an expert
- The topicThe expert receives not an abstract request but a concrete event and a digest for their sector.
- The questionsA list of specific questions is prepared, not a request to «comment».
- ReviewThe expert edits the wording and is responsible for the professional part of the piece.
- PublicationThe commentary appears with the name, position and sector.
Join as an expert or author
- We are forming the author pool and the expert council across eight sectors.
- We need practising specialists ready to answer concrete questions in their field and to confirm their qualifications.
- Write to the newsroom: state your sector, your area of practice and your experience.
What we do not publish
- Anonymous expert assessments.
- Commentary that is in fact an advertisement for the expert's services, without a sponsored-content label.
- Assessments of specific individuals or companies not supported by documents or court decisions.
- Professional detail sufficient to reproduce a criminal scheme.
